D8 cameras are based on standard Hi-8 tape types, and
these, AFAIK, max at 2-hours for Hi-8, 1-hour for D8
SP-mode, and 1.5-hours for D8 in LP-mode - but D8 cameras
record only in DV, limiting you to 1.5-hours recording
time...
