The Componar is not a very good lens, but may be suitable at small
stops for beginning work. Any 4-element (or more) lens should outperform
it (Comparon, Componon, Ektar, El-Nikkor, Rodenstocks, etc...). I am not
familiar with the Opemus, but it, too, is probably suitable for at least beginning-level work.
