It seems to me Clinton's big "crime", in the
"'Bublican" view (for which they tried to "get"
him, any way they could...), is his breaking of
the "good ol' boy" system - Clinton's cabinet
and other appointments had a good representation
of Jews, short people, women, blacks, etc.,
etc. - people quite unlike those Southern rich
WASP male lawyers in Congress who went after
Clinton so avidly (and hypocritically - too bad
Larry Flint didn't continue his useful string
of revelations...;-). I guess it took a Southern
rich white male lawyer to do that (making at
least the executive branch of the government more
representative of the people governed) - but his
compatriots will never forgive him for doing it.
