Hmmmm...
The ones I tried on the XL-1 (frame grabs at:
www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/camcorder-comparison.htm,
look under the XL-1 review - fisheye and .7X) didn't
look all that great, with somewhat soft corners and
color-fringing, especially with the .7X. Not directly
compared, but the WD-58 Canon on the VX-2000 is very
clean (frame grabs at:
http://www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/sony_dcr-vx2000.htm),
and all the photos at:
www.nikonlinks.com/ruether
were shot with the VX-2000 with the Canon WD-58 on it.
I would find it hard to believe that the more expensive
Century (or Sony) would produce better results...;-)
