Don't wait...;-)
If you produce simple 2-3 track videos, you may like the
Storm; if you produce complex edits with several video
tracks, it is hard to beat Raptor's relatively quick and
high-quality rendering and easy set-up. BTW, at lower cost
than the Rex, the Raptor will accept analogue input using
a camcorder or A->D converter box, a useful addition for
Raptor anyway for providing hardware full-res, full-speed
computer-monitor video-overlay and TV-out signal. The
Raptor is still a hard system to beat for DV-mastering
video output ("RT" systems generally output only
analogue in "RT", or simple edits in DV with the Storm...).
