The "basic" is the excellent Canopus codec, which would
be lost if the card were OHCI, along with several other
advantages of using the Canopus products... You can do
well buying a good OHCI card, a good editing program, and
a good separate codec, but you will be little money ahead
and some features behind the Raptor bundle...
