Many people turn their noses up at this cheap system, but it
has worked well for me for several years in all but one
location, and there it functioned well enough. The mics are
smooth, but need EQ to shift down the low end relative to
the upper end of the frequency range (about -6db at 20
cycles smoothly shifting to about +6db around 3-4K, then
turning over, reaching about +3db at 20K does the job),
with noise reduction, if needed (Cool Edit -
www.syntrillium.com). BTW, I use two of these for "stereo",
and protection in case one channel fails...
