Some comments:
- These are mono systems...
- I use two for "stereo" and for safety.
- The Azden mics are somewhat rolled off at the high
end (I compensate with EQ during editing - where
level adjustments can also be made).
- Move the mic closer to the speaker.
- The AGC on the GL-1 should compensate, but its
average level may be lower than usual.
- Try fresh batteries - they don't last long in
this system.
