I have three WMSPRO systems, and like these a lot.
I generally use two systems (with a little 2-mono
to 1-stereo mini-plug adapter from Radio Shack
[a RS right-angle bend gizmo is sometimes needed
to clear camcorder body parts near the mic socket])
for stereo, or for channel duplication for safety.
If you do this, you must be careful to select
channel radio send/receive frequencies carefully.
The sound is good, but is often improved with
brightening equalization. Sony makes a good (and
brighter-sounding) cheap tie-clip mic (no
wind-screen, though), the ECM-T6. With stereo
input on the camcorder, two WMSPRO systems make
the most sense for price and versatility - but
with mono, the WR22PRO, if it is as you describe,
may make sense if you want mics in two different
locations. I have found the Azden wireless systems
good-sounding, reasonably quiet, and reliable - and
a good deal for the price.
