It is a nice developer, allowing a "no-foolin'" speed of 800
with Tri-X, with only subtle losses in tone-quality and grain
appearance compared with Tri-X at 400 in D76 1:1 (though it
is not great with most medium and slow films I have tried
it with, with the notable exception of TMX). It keeps well,
and if used with its replenisher, can be used reliably
over several months and for developing MANY rolls of film.
