You have never seen me, then - I put it on to try, and it never came off!
There is something about having a sharp VF rectangle with lots of black
space around it that makes composition and lighting really easy to judge.
It is also great to be able to stick the camera where you can't be (out
plane windows, down to bugs, just over a running stream, etc.,), and
still be able to frame and focus.
