All Nikkors ever made will fit your camera and most will meter with it
(though non-AI lenses require lifting the AI pin on the camera, and
pushing the DOF preview button while metering). AF lenses will work
fine and need no modification (though there will be no AF, of
course...;-). Personally, I would keep the fine old camera, and
buy the nicer AIS manual-focus lenses for it...;-) (Though if the
F2A is truly mint, and you DO want to sell it, let me know...! ;-)
Among the AF-type bodies, the 6006, discontinued 8008, and N90
are rather nice - and some folks like the N70, F4, and F5, also. ;-)
