probably not...

I suspect there is very little metal in the 50mm AF...
If you want good feel and precision in the focus and
aperture rings (and good looks...), buy MF lenses.
Even well-worn MF lenses are often tighter and smoother
in operation than new AF lenses... I dislike AF, and what
it has done to gear - we now accept things that 20 years
ago would have been laughed out of the marketplace - all
for features of little real merit...
