I prefer highest image and sound quality for reasonable
money-quantity - in a packable "package", which leaves
out mega-buck monsters, most one-chipper Mini-DVs, and
especially the apparently-inferior D8s (the recording
medium is equal to Mini-DV, but the "front-ends" [CCD
and lens] are Hi-8 and lower level, alas, so not of much
interest to me... If the D8s get better, though...;-)
