There are frame-grabs from various Mini-DV camcorders
in my camcorder review article that may give you some
idea (www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/camcorder-comparison.htm),
but you should see noticeably more detail with the better
Mini-DV camcorders, and less color bleed. Copies are
about as good as originals, too... For casual use,
though, a switch to a bottom-end Mini-DV camcorder may
not be useful.
