The much-used-and-liked-and-lamented 8008 is not being currently
made. For AF, the similar-but-much-more-expensive N90 is clearly
better, but otherwise I prefer the 8008 (the finder is sharp in
the 8008, it isn't in the N90 - a rather fatal flaw for me. It
may be possible to correct this if an 8008 screen can be fitted
to the N90, but I have not tried this yet. I collect 8008 bodies
so I have good users for my commercial work (discontinuing this
[and the FE-2...] is one of Nikon's mistakes, I think, since there
is no current equivalent for it).
