Uh, the "s" spot meter causes a "dead" center in the center-weighted
meter area, so I prefer the "non-s", since I don't care about having
a spot meter in a 35mm camera. The "s" also has tracking AF (I don't
use AF, so the "non-s" is fine for me). There is no standard cable
socket on the 8008 - you need to get an adapter for one that fits in
the socket to the right of the lens. 8008's do have DOF preview, run
on AA's (not AAA's), and do multiple exposures. The price you found
seems fair.
