Hi-- I have never used the N50 or N70, but I have used the 6006. I gather
the main differences between the 6006 and the others is a glitzier display
on the later cameras, which offer presets for program modes and a few other
fripperies. The 6006 is pretty straight-forward as a manual camera, and offers
(as the others may also, not sure) great control over the TTL flash. None has
a DOF button. The N50 is not very compatible with your non-AF lenses, so I
think the choice comes down to the 6006 and the N70 (which may have faster,
quieter, and better AF, but MAY not be so pleasant to use as a manual camera
as the 6006, which is noticeably cheaper, and is about to disappear as a new
camera [the N70 is its replacement]). I would handle both, check out the
VF's for manual focusing ease and displays (especially the manual metering display), and see if you can get an idea which works better for you. I would
avoid the N50, since you will not be able to meter manually with your lenses.
Hey, thanks for the comments on my posts - sometimes they seem to disappear
into space, without reactions.....
Hope This Helps
