I would look first for a used AIS (larger, metal-barrel version - though the compact, plastic-barrel version is also excellent [just
looks/feels bad...;-]) 50mm f1.8. If you really must have the
extra stop or so (with optical compromises, especially when used
wider than f1.8...), the AIS 50mm f1.4 is good, as is the f1.2
(if not used at wide stops near infinity focus). BTW, you may

useful.

No problem - the 3-D metering effects are subtle at best most of the
time.

KEH is good, though pricey. Watch for a good price/condition lens
on r.p.marketplace (or e-mail me, I have a few 50's to spare [I'm
not cheap, but I test everything to make sure it is OK before
selling it]).
