Hmmm, why f1.4 for full length portraits....? ;-)
If you restrict yourself roughly to that distance,
the Nikkor 50mm f1.2 is probably best (crisp
wide-open to the corners at f1.2 at near-medium
focus distances, but not near infinity or minimum
focus distances...). If f2 is OK, the f1.4 is probably
a better general-use type lens, and the f1.8's may
be better yet (slightly lower contrast at f2, but better
corner resolution...). BTW, you may find my
