Hmmm, much as I like the Nikkor mirrors for their sharp
images, fast they aren't (they are slower than rating),
fast in operation they aren't (MF with these is not the
easiest/fastest process), and while DOF appears greater
than one might expect (maybe due to the unusually contrasty
out-of-focus image...), universal DOF with most landscapes
is often not possible - so I'm not too sure the mirror is
a good choice for either landscape or sports photography
(I like it for nature, people, and architectural work - and
maybe for the occasional publicity head shot when close
proximity is not possible...;-)
