Since the otherwise excellent 60mm is only so-so at infinity-focus at
wide stops (and requires about f11 to sharpen the corners at infinity-
focus), I would not use it for general picture-taking. The 50mm f1.4
is excellent over most of the frame at all distances by about f2, but
takes more stopping down to sharpen the far corners than the 50mm f1.8,
which would be my choice (the f1.8 is also free of linear distortion,
while the f1.4 has some barrel distortion). The 50mm f1.8 is a true
bargain lens... (and even performs well on extension tubes [stopped
down] for macro use!). BTW, you may want to check out my "SUBJECTIVE
