You don't say what kind of film, but....
- If color negative, do nothing, it will probably be OK (with better
shadow areas, and maybe finer grain).
- If B & W negative, reduce development one stop (about 1/3rd less
development time) - the negatives will be slightly dense and slightly
soft (not a bad combination for getting good prints).
- If color slide, alas, it is probably best discarded - a two-stop
pull will probably give ugly results, but it is worth a try if the
images are important.
Local professional labs can help, or even a friendly full-service
one-hour lab.
