The two I tried were very poor, but others seem to have found good ones.
My advice: buy it, but only if the store will give you a 10 day trial
period with full refund if not satisfied. And check it critically - the
better of the two I tried would make passable 4x6 snapshot images, but
it was a LONG way below Nikon's average high performance. For the kind
of performance level I experienced with that lens, any P&S would do,
and would be more convenient to use.
