I use Premiere for three-camera shoots. I line up camera one
on track 1A, and, using the visual images of the sound
tracks, synchronize cameras two and three on tracks two
and three with camera one (I rename the audio tracks to match
to avoid confusion). As I move along, I can switch on and
off the various video and audio tracks (using the icons at
the far left of the timeline window) to see and hear what I
want, to make cutting/mixing decisions. The SI "rubber
bands" can be used for "shaped" cross-dissolves when wanted,
or part of a clip can be dropped to track 1B for a
transition other than a cut or dissolve.
