If it is in really nice condition (near "mint"), it has moderate
collector value (the "cm" lenses were the earliest Nikkor SLR
lenses), though it is not worth a fortune... The "H" indicated
the number of elements (6?). It was not one of Nikon's better optical achievements (see my Nikkor evaluation list on my web page, under
"I babble"), but it was not bad. Since it focuses only to 3', has
a slow-rate helical, a small maximum aperture, and is a wide-angle,
it probably is focusing, but it would take sharp eyes and a good,
contrasty (um, older-style...;-) viewing screen to see the focus change (and the lens will physically barely extend/contract when
focused between its extremes). BTW, DO NOT mount it on a modern
Nikon unless you know how to account for its being non-AI - damage
to the body AI tab could result.
