If you don't care about sharpness, the AI version of the
28mm f2.8 is VERY resistent to flare/ghosting - but I
prefer good sharpness to the corners, and the AIS is MUCH
better for this... BTW, I've never understood BR's liking
for the 28mm f2 Nikkor - it is a good lens, but I prefer the
AIS 2.8 wider than f5.6, and the 28mm f4 PC to all of
the other versions for "snap" and even-to-the-corners
sharpness...
