You can find reviews of both lenses on my web page,
under "I babble". Briefly, a good-sample 28-70 was
better than the 28-105 at similar FL's at f5.6
except at 28mm; the 28-105 has VERY unusually low
distortion (it isn't bad in either of the other
two lenses); the 24-120 is remarkably good at f5.6.
I don't think you will see big differences in
sharpness in good samples of these three lenses...
