You may find my "SUBJECTIVE Lens Evaluations (Mostly Nikkors)"
useful - on my web page under "Ritingz" or "I babble..."
The short of it is: the 24-120 is hard to beat, and if you can
stop it down to about f11, darn near impossible to beat, even
with good primes ('cept maybe in the far corners...) - it is
one excellent zoom, and better than the other two, in my
experience.
