It would be a bit short of 180 degrees, and the rounded ends of the
photo may not be to your liking, but the 8mm f4 Sigma with a 1.4X
converter (peaks at f8) works well. (An 8mm f2.8 Nikkor on a TC14A
used at f16 is better, and does provide 180 degrees of horizontal
coverage.) These images have the advantage of fitting in standard
35mm slide mounts.
