'Fraid so...., unless you are thinking of the f4 105 Micro-Nikkor,
which is a set of 5 elements fixed in a variable extension tube.
The MF 105mm f2.8 and the AF 105's use a combination of zoom and
standard focus technology to accomplish both focus and performance
optimization over a wide focus range (the 90mm f2.5 Vivitar Series I
macro used this design earlier than Nikon [successfully], I think).
