Assuming the picture of the PC5 is the same as that of the
TRV11 (I think it is...), and the picture of the PC110 is
the same as that of the PC100 (and TRV20 - and I think it
is...), both are good, but a bit different. The PC100
picture is a bit colder in color balance, a tad sharper,
with maybe a bit more negative artifacting evident. The
picture is almost as sharp as that of the TRV900, but
missing a bit of detail in highlights and shadows compared
with the 900 (and the picture overall has a tad too high
a contrast level compared with the 900). The TRV11
picture is warmer and a little smoother-looking in good
light, but with a tad less detail in bright highlights (and in
general) - though its picture is quite pleasant, and looks
less "hard" than the PC100's. In low light, the PC100 holds
excellent color to a slightly lower level than the TRV11,
but then loses it suddenly; the TRV11 offers acceptable
color to a slightly lower ultimate light level. Bottom line:
both are very good for one-chippers, and sometimes I prefer
one, sometimes the other...;-) Being a sharpness nut, I
often prefer the PC100 (and the sound is better) when
the light is ideal for it - but sometimes I prefer the
TRV11 (and I use it for a 4th camera in 4-camera shoots
instead of the PC100 when the light level is low, but
is not known in advance to be OK for the PC100). 3-chippers
are better (and the VX-2000 is noticeably better than
any of the above), but for casual shooting........;-)
