Nikon does not yet offer a "D" zoom in this range (though
the "D" feature seems to me to be of little value, especially
in a lens of this type, anyway). Both the MF 100-300mm f5.6
and the AF 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 are excellent lenses, sharp
center-to corner at all apertures and focal-lengths. I would
definitely choose the Nikkors over the Sigma and Tokina
lenses, if you can afford to do it and care about quality.
