I was
spectacularly unsuccessful shooting hand-held video
from a
light plane (these things BOUNCE a LOT!!!), though
stills
with high enough shutter speeds are OK. The pros use a
stabilized
camera mounted firmly on a *jet* helicopter (lower
vibration),
but this and the proper camera mount*s* are
EXPENSIVE!
Shooting straight down also requires special
set-ups.
Best advice: either turn down the job or get enough
for it
to do it right - unsharp, motion-smeared, jumpy footage
will
likely be useless to the client. Or, shoot it in stills...
