You should be able to play the timeline (after rendering

all changes that need it). If you start recording with

the connected camera in VCR mode, and then start playing

the video on the timeline, you should get a recording of

what in on the timeline... (but, if you have a Firewire

input-defeated camera [being in Europe], this will not

work....).
