The GL2 can go low enough that you may not need

an annoying on-camera light for most situations.

If you do, consider using "ganged" mini florescent

lights on a bar (with a color-correction acetate

filter to roughly color-match ambient light)

run off a 6-volt gel-cell (cheap at battery shops,

used for motorcycles - but fuse it!). This produces

a much softer light that looks better on tape, and

it is FAR less annoying to guests when in use...
