No. This is often caused by incorrect settings in

Premiere that cause codec changes, output characteristics

that are different from input, "always render" chosen, etc.

Background programs running (like anti-virus) can also slow

things considerably, as can having incompatible programs

on the computer (this got me recently - one REALLY gummed

up Premiere!). Expect rendering of *everything* in the 7

minutes to take maybe 15-50 minutes, depending on what

you are rendering (though the Premiere dialogue box may

tell you it will take MUCH more time, as the rendering

starts...;-).
