Fuji's lab is in Phoenix, making their services

impractical in the summer (I've had heat damage);

Kodak and Fuji have swapped mount types - Kodak

used to use glued cardboard mounts that kept

the film flatter in the mount, but the cut-out

had rounded corners and edge "fuzzies", and it

was difficult correcting rotation and off-center

mountings - Fuji used plastic mounts (now these

are reversed[!]); Kodak return time used to be

faster, but I don't know if this is currently

true. I have not used the other services - but

getting clean, consistent slide processing and

mounting these days seems harder than it used

to be...
