You can
find many video frame-grabs and video-still images
in
various articles under the camcorder section of
www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/articles.html
- and all of the
images
at www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/fs.htm were taken with
a video
camera (3-CCD VX2000). Look also for the 3-D
images
section on my web site (below), which were mostly
shot
with 1-CCD megapixel camcorders. Bottom line, though,
is that
*NO* video camera takes good images for paper prints,
but for
web use, some take good images for screen display.
The best
640x480 images shot with the VX2000 can be
up-sampled
well enough with Genuine Fractals to make
adequate
4x6/5x7 prints, if needed - but high-quality they
are
not. The high pixel-count 1-CCD video images, if shot
above
640x480, tend to be excessively noisy...
