At least the older motor-drive cameras needed just a

shorting of the terminals to fire the camera - and

the radio-control for cars tend to have this simple

function. If the camera is set for "single-focus"

AF, it will not fire until the AF finds focus, so

the adaptation can be quite easy (assuming the

shorting condition can be maintained long enough).
