If your video camera will accept FireWire input, you
can connect the camera, and connect the analogue outputs
of many cameras to analogue recorders and play the timeline
(after rendering) while recording... For safety and
mastering, though, I make two DV masters of the parts,
and assemble long pieces from these DV copies of the parts
to make the long analogue copies...
