Here you can buy sheets of replacement air-conditioner foam

(must pass air...) very cheaply. A couple of layers of this placed

around the mic area of the camera and taped at the ends to

hold it may help. You can also buy mic windscreens in various

shapes and cut to best-fit the camera mic area. With all of these,

the best you can hope for is some improvement (reduced wind

noise in moderate conditions), but not complete freedom from

wind effects in strong winds - this takes special gear to

accomplish that is larger than the camera...
