Hi--
The
"back spacing" for 35mm lenses and lenses for 16mm
movie
cameras (what the "C" mount is used for) is VERY
different,
forcing only very close focusing with the C-mount
lenses
mounted on 35mm cameras (with a very small image
area,
also). Doing this can be useful for macro work, but
best
optical performance is often had with the lens reversed,
which
makes for more mounting difficulties, and short focal
length
lenses may be impractical non-reversed since correct
focus
may appear inside the lens barrel. It is also hard to find
C-->Nikon-mount,
though the reverse does exist and is made
by
Nikon (not useful for this). Why do you want to do this...?
