Not
changing the tape brand (ever), regardless of the
camcorder
brand, is the best way to reduce the possibility
of
dropouts and head-clogs. If you mixed brands successfully on
another
camera, then likely continuing this will be OK (all tapes
are
made by Sony and Panasonic anyway, and you may not have
really
mixed different tapes, though the brands may have been
different
- but if you now add a truly different tape, it may be
that
this will now cause a problem...).
