That is
correct. This translates into 540 TV lines horizontal
resolution
maximum regardless of what comes before it in
terms
of pixel-count, optics-quality, electronics, etc., BUT:
improving
what comes before this last "step" does affect the
final
image quality...

does not necessarily follow, since the quality of the

does not translate this simply from pixel-count of
