I just
bought the 3-watt Sony for those totally-hopeless spots
in
receptions (outdoors at night, etc.) and it is just right for this
(though
it is not very wide-angle), but it is on the edge of usefulness
with
the much less sensitive TRV30. I like the auto-on feature and
the
powering through the camcorder, and it is VERY small.
I'm
guessing that it would be OK with the TRV22 for close-in
shooting,
but would not light very far out. Unfortunately, more
powerful
lights are truly annoying to anyone you point them at, so
this
one may be a good choice...
