As others have said, since you have started with Premiere,

why not continue? There are other good programs, some of

which are simpler, but you may soon outgrow the simplest,

and you do not need to use most of Premiere's features,

if you do not want to... BTW, I do not like the standard

interface for Premiere, and prefer a more "hands-on"

film-like approach - but this is easy to do in Premiere

(see: www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/premiere.htm - though this

is for P-5.1 [which I still use], it applies also to

P-6, since it is similar enough...).
