Sony offers a multi-LED IR light at a reasonable price, or

you can make your own IR light (the LED solution is not very

wide-angle at all...). BTW, you may find the TRV9 review and

daylight-IR samples (daylight-IR shooting capability was

disabled by Sony part way through the TRV9's production run,

unfortunately, removing a useful feature for silly reasons)
