I don't think the cause is known (though Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, PA may

have a cure if you are in arhythmia when they do the heart catheterization).

For me, maybe stress + lack of sleep + lack of food (mostly from an infection)

may have done it... I have eaten badly all my life - but one of the good

things to come out of this is knowing my heart vessels are clear and open

(my heart may stop from AF, but not very likely from a classic heart attack,

which is caused by blood flow constrictions/blockages in the heart vessels).

Some people collect clogs in dangerous places; some don't - I was lucky.

Disclaimer: in all of this, do not take what I've said as good *medical* advice,

which I'm not qualified to give - I have only tried to help by giving the "identifier"

(*very* irregular pulse-rate) for this all too common killer...
