There
have been recent posts about this on the video NGs - you
may
want to check older posts or do a search on google. Gist: some
3-CCD
cameras aren't-as-good-as/are-not-much-better-than some
of the
best 1-CCD cameras - and the one you mention may be among
these.
Due to the quality of good Mini-DV and the advantages of
digital
for relative freedom from generation losses and dropouts, it
makes
sense now to work in Mini-DV. BTW, don't overlook the
advantages
of buying used gear - you can often get good cameras
for
about the price of inferior new ones...
